Mutual balance¶

Your dashboard tells you who's ahead this month, in one number. This is where that number actually comes from.

Every shared expense, every repayment, every personal charge on the joint account nudges the balance between the two of you up or down. The full report lists every single one, newest first, with the running balance recalculated right after each line — so "wait, why do I owe that much?" is a scroll away, not a mystery.

The Mutual Balance report: a list of shared utility expenses, each showing the date, category and merchant, the amount, and the running balance owed between Alice and Bob after that transaction.

No separate spreadsheet tracking who paid what, and no trusting memory for "I think I've covered more of the electricity bills lately." It's all just there, one line per transaction, all the way back to the day you started using Funder.
